Do I need tickets to attend the performances?
Yes! Everyone needs a ticket to attend Circus Incognitus and Rup Loops the Human Radio.
Do I need to register my child for the workshops?
Yes! Space is limited in each workshop, so children need to be registered to participate. Caregivers must accompany their children to workshops (they will be participating!) but do not need to be registered.
What does pick-your-price mean?
Pick-your-price means that you get to choose how much you pay for workshops and performances from a selection of prices. When you register or book tickets online you will be prompted to pick a price ($0, $6, $10, $15, or $20) from a drop-down menu.
Having price choices is important to us so that all families can afford to attend the festival.
Where can I find a public washroom?
Public washrooms are located at the Marie Fleming Studio and in the lobby of the theatre. There are also public washrooms at the Greater Vernon Recreation Centre.
Will food and drink be available at the Performing Arts Centre?
There will be food trucks outside the building from 11:30AM – 2:30PM on Saturday and 11:30AM – 1:30PM on Sunday. The theatre’s concession will also be open from 10AM to 1PM daily selling snacks and beverages.
There is plenty of space to picnic around the building and there are tables outside of the Recreation Centre. You may also eat your lunch in the lobby of the theatre. Food is not allowed inside the auditorium or the Marie Fleming Studio.
Are strollers allowed inside the Performing Arts Centre?
Yes, strollers are allowed inside the Arts Centre, however, they are not permitted inside the auditorium during performances due to fire safety. We will have secure stroller parking in the lobby.
Can I leave my child unsupervised while they attend the performances or workshops?
Children must be supervised by at least 1 adult over 19 years of age. The shows are incredible! We know the adults in attendance will have as much fun as the kids!
I heard there are free activities happening. Where and when are they taking place?
There will be free activities outside the Performing Arts Centre from 11:30AM – 2:30PM on Saturday and 11:30AM – 1:30PM on Sunday. Check out our community partners at the Activity Zone in the parking lot, play at the Boys and Girls Club Zone (Saturday only), enjoy a quiet story walk along the creek, and be dazzled by roaming entertainers!
