Notice of Meeting

Dear Society Members;

On behalf of the Board of Directors, Members, Staff & Volunteers, we wish to thank you for your continuing support of the Vernon & District Performing Arts Centre Society, especially during this challenging time.

The Society will hold its 2021 Annual General Meeting by Zoom video conference at 7:00pm, Monday, June 7, 2021. All Members were formally & directly notified on May 10, 2021. This as your official Notice of Meeting as issued to all current members:

2021 Annual General Meeting of the Vernon and District Performing Arts Centre Society 7:00pm, Monday, June 7, 2021 by Online Zoom Video/Teleconference (In keeping with current Public Health Orders & social distancing) YOU MUST PRE-REGISTER TO ATTEND THIS MEETING. Under revised rules for this videoconference meeting all members-in-good-standing wishing to participate must pre-register with Executive Director, Jim Harding, at [email protected] No later than Noon PDT on Monday, June 7, 2021.

The Executive Director will send each registered member a confirmation by email with links and instructions on how to join this meeting. AGM documents will be posted to the Society’s website at vdpac.ca on Friday, June 4, 2021.

The Society has 7 Director positions open and the Officer positions of Treasurer and Secretary to fill on the Board. Under our revised rules for this videoconference meeting, all nominations are to be submitted to the Executive Director at [email protected], by Noon, Friday June 4, 2021. Nominations will not be received from the floor at the meeting.

Executive Director Jim Harding & Artistic Director Erin Kennedy will report on the Society’s activities over the past year, upcoming plans as a result of COVID-19 and to answer any questions that you may have.
