Fees - Main Auditorium
The four areas of cost are as follows:
  1. Base rent: $1,200 or 10% of FULL GROSS ticket sales whichever is greater. Discounts available for:
    • Not-profit groups
    • Local groups (Vernon and District)
    • Groups featuring non-professional performers

    Tech day rentals (no audience) are charged at $370 per day
    **There is a $275 additional charge for all rentals on Statutory Holidays.**

  2. Facility Fee
    • $1.65 per sold seat for ticketed events
    • $1.65 per attendee for non-ticketed events
  3. Work order - includes (but not limited to):
    • Technical Director's overtime, at $43.50 per hour
    • Additional Front-of-House calls, at $130.00 per four hour call
    • Assistant Technical Director as required rated at $25.50 per hour. Minimum call is four hours, overtime as per BC labour laws
    • Trained crew as required rated at $21.50 per hour per person. Minimum call is four hours, overtime as per BC labour laws.
    • Any equipment rented to accommodate the needs of the licensee
    • Any supplies purchased to accommodate the needs of the licensee
    • Rental fee for use of a Piano
    • Tuning fee for the piano, if you request to have it tuned
    • Electrical tie-in/out fees, if needed to power your equipment
    • $5 replacement charge for consumed fluid for the Fog Machine or Hazer
    • $2.50 per battery replacement for cordless microphones
    • $50 tape charge for use of the dance floor
    • $50 charge for use of our in house-mix, if used.
    • $20 charge for use of the projector, if used.
    • Excessive Janitorial clean up charge $100 per day
  4. Ticket agent fees:
  5. $3.50 per sold ticket
  6. 3% credit card fee
  7. $0.15 per ticket for debited charges
  8. No additional fees to ticket buyers unless they request tickets be mailed to them ($2 fee to buyer)

    Please note: When you book the theatre you must use our Ticket Seller Box Office for all ticket sales.
What A Renter Gets With A Main Auditorium Rental
What a Renter gets with a rental:
  • Rental of the theatre for 24 hours - Midnight to Midnight (access to the building requires that the technical director be present)
  • The assistance of a hands-on Technical Director for 7 hours
    • 7 hours of work, plus a half hour lunch break and two 15 minute coffee breaks to make one 8 hour day - BC Labour laws
    • There must be a meal break after 4 hours - OR - Renter Supplies her/him with a well balanced meal (not pizza) and a break to eat, plus are charged a $15 penalty
  • Access to all equipment designed for use on stage - lighting, sound, soft goods, projector, screen, chairs, tables, risers, electric piano, etcetera
    • Limited to equipment designed for use on stage - No to access office furniture, fridges, stoves, etc for use onstage
    • Does not include - Replacement Fees for: liquid for Fog or Hazer, tape for dance floor, batteries, etcetera
    • The Grand piano does not belong to the facility, and its owners charge rental of:
      • Grand piano - For-profit $300 per performance days
      • Grand piano - Not-for-profit - $100 per performance day
      • Rates are discounted for non-audience days, and all additional days
      • If the Grand piano needs tuning, it must be tuned by the owner's tuner (check with our office to confirm current tuning fees)
  • One Guest Relations Team which has of up to 17 volunteer Ushers, Ticket Takers, Program Ushers, Bartenders, Concession operators, Coat check Staff, and a Team Leader to supervise them. (For up to four hours)
  • Additional Guest Relation Team Services will be charged to the renter in four hour blocks of $130 per Front of House Call

Fees - Marie Fleming Hall & Tolko Millennium Foyer
There are two areas of cost in a Marie Fleming Hall or Tolko Millennium Foyer rental.
  1. Base rent - $310 per day rented, includes:
    • Rental of the space for 24 hours - Midnight to Midnight (However, any time you or anyone from your group is in the building a staff member must be present)
    • Your choice of the assistance of either a Guest Relations Team (Front of House/Reception assistance with up to 5 ushers) for up to 4 hours OR a Technical Director for up to 4 hours.
    • Access to all equipment designed for use on stage - lighting, sound, projector, screen, chairs, tables, risers, etc. (This only includes equipment designed for use on stage - cannot access office furniture, fridges, stoves, etc for use onstage.)
    • If technical assistance is chosen, a Guest Relations Team can be added for a 4 hour call at $130.00.
      • If any stage equipment is used, the Performing Arts Centre's Technical Director must be used for a minimum 4 hour call. A Technical Director is charged out at $29 per hour.
